Beto was hired to launch and lead Leo’s operation in Lima. In its first year under his leadership, the agency quickly rose to become the second-best ranked agency in the country, while winning multiple international and local awards, including recognition at Cannes Lions. In 2024, he was also named among the Top 25 Creatives in Latin America by El Ojo.
Before Leo, Beto led the AB InBev creative team at VML, where he earned two Grand Prix at El Sol and added wins at Cannes, NYF, Clio, Effie, PHNX, and more. His leadership helped VML be named Peru’s Best Agency at El Ojo de Iberoamérica 2023.
Beto has also been invited to serve as a jury member at leading international festivals including New York Festival, CICLOPE, Shots Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, Clio Awards, among others.
Since 2025, he has served on the board of APAP (the Peruvian Association of Advertising Agencies), contributing to the development and future of the local industry.
